A Casper man Mini Football Table found himself handcuffed this weekend after police say he got tossed from a card game and, while leaving, picked up some trays of poker chips and threw them on the ground.
Scott Ruskanen was arrested early Saturday morning after authorities found him outside of Depend-A-Pawn with marijuana in his pocket, according to a police affidavit.
The owner of the East 2nd Street business told police Ruskanen got kicked out of the building after he got "out of control."
"As (he) was leaving the building he picked up three trays of poker chips and threw them on the ground outside," the affidavit states.
After arriving at the scene, police found the 46-year-old in the alley behind the pawn shop. Before arresting him, officers found "a large amount of money" and "green leafy substance suspected to be marijuana" in his pant's right pocket.
Ruskanen made his initial appearance in Natrona County Circuit Court on Monday, where prosecutors charged him with misdemeanor possession of marijuana. He entered a not guilty plea.
A trial will be scheduled.
